Nikola is a Canadian/Bulgarian designer based in London. He obtained a Master of Product Design at ÉCAL in Lausanne in 2019 and has worked as an Industrial Designer at Yonoh in Valencia and Foster + Partners in London. During this time he has designed furniture, products and interiors for brands such as Karimoku, B&B Italia, Ichendorf and others.
His approach focuses on bringing out the essential in a product by removing the superfluous, pushing materials to their maximum and developing design languages that go beyond trends.
His work often explores the themes of sustainability, modularity and shape which have become driving elements in his collaborations and push him to create simple and meaningful objects.
